SEATTLE (Nov. 2) With two games
remaining in the regular season, Seattle Pacific University
remains the women's soccer team to beat for the top seed in next
week's NCAA Division II Far West Regional.
Undefeated pending Wednesday's game with
Central Washington, the Falcons are No. 1 in the NCAA regional
ranking, followed by UC San Diego and Cal State Dominguez Hills.
Four teams will be invited to the regional
Monday (Nov. 7). The No. 1 seed has the right to serve as host for
tournament, scheduled for Nov. 10 and 12.
