SEATTLE (Nov. 2) Seattle Pacific
University has moved up to No. 8 in the latest NCAA Division II
Pacific Regional volleyball rankings.
Winners of eight straight matches, the Falcons
(19-5) rose two spots from the previous rankings. Eight teams,
including two conference champions with automatic berths, will
participate in the regional tournament Nov. 17-19.
SPU is coming off a win over Central
Washington, the No. 7 team in the region. The Falcons visit No. 10
Seattle University Thursday night.
As a late note, Wednesday night Cal
State L.A. lost at Cal State San Bernardino, so these rankings may
change when the next week's update is released.
