Falcons Move up to 16th in National Volleyball Poll
October 31, 2005

SEATTLE (Oct. 31) ­ Following a four-week stay, Seattle Pacific University is on the climb again in the NCAA Division II volleyball rankings, rising two spots to No. 16.

The Falcons (19-5) moved up from 18th after beating Western Washington and now 14th-ranked Central Washington at home. The Wildcats had been 12th.

SPU can take a giant step toward its first Great Northwest Athletic Conference title when it visits Seattle University Thursday night.

Nebraska Kearney, which suffered its only loss to SPU last month, is atop the CSTV/AVCA coaches poll for the third week in a row. The top nine positions remained unchanged.
