SEATTLE (Oct. 31) Following a four-week
stay, Seattle Pacific University is on the climb again in the NCAA
Division II volleyball rankings, rising two spots to No. 16.
The Falcons (19-5) moved up from 18th after
beating Western Washington and now 14th-ranked Central Washington
at home. The Wildcats had been 12th.
SPU can take a giant step toward its first
Great Northwest Athletic Conference title when it visits Seattle
University Thursday night.
Nebraska Kearney, which suffered its only loss
to SPU last month, is atop the CSTV/AVCA coaches poll for the
third week in a row. The top nine positions remained unchanged.
