SEATTLE (Oct. 26) ­ Seattle Pacific University's soccer teams find themselves in good positions with regard to earning berths in next month's NCAA Division II men's and women's tournaments.

The Falcons are ranked No. 1 in the Far West Region women's rankings and No. 2 in the men's. The top four women's teams and three men's teams will receive tournament berths for the regional tournaments, to be hosted by the top seeds Nov. 10 and 12.

NCAA tournament announcements will be made Nov. 7.

The undefeated SPU women (14-0-2), ranked No. 2 in the nation, visit Humboldt State for a Great Northwest Athletic Conference game Thursday. The 6th-ranked men's team (10-2-3) visits Grand Canyon Thursday night in Phoenix.
