Nine Falcons Make Academic All-GNAC Cross Country
October 26, 2005

SEATTLE (Oct. 26) ­ Seattle Pacific University placed a league-high nine cross country runners on the 2005 Academic All-Great Northwest Athletic Conference team announced Wednesday.

Among the Falcons' three men and six women were five repeat selections, including three-time award winner Becky Knox. Brandi McCoy, Eddie Strickler, James Rosser and Michael Gavareski made the team last year.

Seattle Pacific's four first-time award winners were Kaitlin Rohde, Karin Rohde, Tracy Kuhn and Megan Wrightman.

To be eligible for the academic team, student-athletes must have a minimum grade point average of 3.20 and be in at least their second year of competition at their university.
