SEATTLE (Oct. 25) The top seven places
in the NCAA Division II women's soccer rankings remained unchanged
this week, with Seattle Pacific University still at No. 2.
The undefeated Falcons (14-0-2) trail Metro
State (Co.), the defending national champion and the sole team
(17-0-0) without either a loss or a tie, in the NSCAA/adidas
women's soccer coaches poll.
Behind SPU are West Florida (16-0-2) and West
Chester (Pa.) (16-0-2), the other remaining unbeaten teams.
Other ranked teams from the Far West Region are
Cal State Dominguez Hills (No. 15), Cal State Stanislaus (No. 21)
and UC San Diego (No. 22).
SPU visits Humboldt State Thursday afternoon.
