Seattle Pacific Women Remain No. 2 Nationally for Fifth Week in Row
October 18, 2005

SEATTLE (Oct. 18) ­One of four remaining unbeaten teams in the nation, Seattle Pacific University stays at No. 2 in the NSCAA/adidas women¹s soccer coaches poll this week.

The Falcons (13-0-1) trail Metro State (Co.), the defending national champion and the sole team (15-0-0) without either a loss or a tie.

Behind SPU are West Florida (14-0-2) and West Chester (Pa.) (14-0-2), the other remaining unbeaten teams.

Other ranked teams from the Far West Region are UC San Diego (No. 11) and Cal State Stanislaus (No. 22).

SPU hosts Simon Fraser, the No. 6 team in NAIA, Wednesday night.
