SEATTLE (Oct. 17) ­Megan Lienhard of Seattle Pacific University was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's soccer player of the week after scoring the game-winning goal in the Falcons' 13th victory last week.

Lienhard (Sr., Everett, Wa./Cascade) got the game's only goal in the third minute at Western Washington as SPU extended its regular season unbeaten run to 51 games (48-0-3). It was her fifth goal of the season and the 23rd of her career.

The No. 2-ranked Falcons (13-0-1) host Simon Fraser Wednesday night at 7.
