SEATTLE (Oct. 10) ­ Chelsey Myers of Seattle Pacific University was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference co-player of the week in volleyball after pacing the Falcons to a pair of home wins.

Myers (Sr., Minden, Nv./Douglas) had 20 kills as SPU snapped Seattle University's nine-match win streak with a 3-0 victory, pulling to within one match of the first-place Redhawks. In two matches, she had 23 kills and recorded a .455 attack percentage.

The Falcons (13-5), ranked No. 18 in NCAA Division II, host Humboldt State Thursday night.
