SPU Stays 18th in National Volleyball Rankings
October 10, 2005

SEATTLE (Oct. 10) ­ Seattle Pacific University, after posting a pair of home wins, stayed at No. 18 in the NCAA Division II volleyball rankings this week.

Seattle Pacific (7-2, 13-5) is listed among the top 25 of the CSTV/AVCA coaches poll for the sixth week in a row. The Falcons go after their seventh consecutive home sweep Thursday night against Humboldt State.

Truman State (Mo.) is No. 1 for the sixth week in a row while Nebraska Kearney, which lost to SPU last month, is No. 2.

Nine of the top 25 teams are from the Pacific Region, including No.4 Hawaii Pacific, No. 8 Cal Poly Pomona and No. 10 Central Washington.
