October 5, 2005

Complete Box Score

ELLENSBURG, Wa. (Oct. 6)—Heidi Jacobson scored late in the second half to knot the score at one apiece, but the No. 2 Seattle Pacific University women’s soccer team was unable to hit net in overtime as the Falcons played Central Washington to a 1-1 OT draw in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference women’s soccer game Wednesday afternoon in Ellensburg.

Jacobson (Sr., Kirkland, Wa.) beat Central keeper Megan Michaud to the post to tie up the score in the 82nd minute with assistance from Sarah Martinez (So., Bothell, Wa.). The senior forward notched a pair of shots on the match, second only to Megan Lienhard’s (Sr., Everett, Wa.) four.

The Wildcats opened up scoring at 58:47 as Michelle Beattie beat SPU keeper Jennifer Burns (Fr., Boise, Id.) off a slot pass from teammate Cassie Behrendt.
