SEATTLE (Oct. 3) ­ Seattle Pacific University midfielder Shannon Lovejoy was chosen as the Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's soccer co-player of the week after figuring in both goals in the Falcons' latest victory.

Lovejoy (Sr., Seattle, Wa./Seattle Prep) assisted on the first goal and struck the game-winning penalty kick in overtime as SPU won its 11th straight game, defeating Western Washington 2-1. She now has 100 career points, which leads Seattle Pacific and is No. 2 in the GNAC.

The Falcons (11-0-0) face Seattle University at Championship Field at 12 noon Saturday.
