SEATTLE (Sept. 26) ­ Meredith Crane of Seattle Pacific University was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's cross country runner of the week after setting a course record at the Saint Martin's Invitational.

Crane (Jr., Yakima, Wa./Davis) won her second race in three outings, completing the 5000-meter Saint Martin's campus course in 17 minutes, 33 seconds. The 14th-ranked SPU women finished second to Victoria.
