SEATTLE (Sept. 19) Following its fourth
straight win, Seattle Pacific University has risen to No. 18 in
the NCAA Division II volleyball coaches poll.
The Falcons (9-3), reaching an all-time high
for the second week in a row, moved up two spots after road wins
at Western Oregon and Humboldt State. This is their third straight
week in the CSTV/AVCA poll.
Seattle Pacific's next match is Thursday night
at home against Alaska Anchorage.
Two of the three losses this season have been
to ranked foes: No. 13 Ferris State (Mi.) and No. 20 Cal State
L.A.
Truman State (Mo.) is No. 1 for the third week
in a row, but three other teams received at least two first-place
