SPU Climbs Two Spots to No. 18 in Volleyball

SEATTLE (Sept. 19) Following its fourth straight win, Seattle Pacific University has risen to No. 18 in the NCAA Division II volleyball coaches poll.

The Falcons (9-3), reaching an all-time high for the second week in a row, moved up two spots after road wins at Western Oregon and Humboldt State. This is their third straight week in the CSTV/AVCA poll.

Seattle Pacific's next match is Thursday night at home against Alaska Anchorage.

Two of the three losses this season have been to ranked foes: No. 13 Ferris State (Mi.) and No. 20 Cal State L.A.

Truman State (Mo.) is No. 1 for the third week in a row, but three other teams received at least two first-place votes.
