September 13, 2005

SEATTLE (Sept. 13) Continuing its climb through the top 10, Seattle Pacific University is now No. 3 in this week's NCAA Division II women's soccer rankings.

The Falcons (6-0-0) are four rungs higher than a week ago after sweeping three road games in California. Among those results was a 2-1 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills, now 12th in the NSCAA/adidas poll.

Defending national champion Metro State (Co.) stays at No. 1, followed by Franklin Pierce (NH) and SPU. The Falcons visits Northwest Nazarene Friday for their first Great Northwest Athletic Conference game.
