SEATTLE (Sept. 12) ­ Seattle Pacific University forward Sarah Martinez was chosen as the women's soccer player of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference after leading the unbeaten Falcons to their fifth straight win.

Martinez (So., Bothell, Wa./Cedar Park Christian) scored two second-half goals as SPU (5-0-0) came from behind to defeat Cal State Dominguez Hills on the road, 2-1. Martinez also hit the crossbar twice.

Seattle Pacific played at Cal State Bakersfield Monday night, with the Falcons winning in overtime, 2-1.
