SEATTLE (Aug. 29) ­ Carolyn Nason, who scored one goal and helped Seattle Pacific University's defense allow only two shots in an opening-game win, was named co-player of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's soccer player of the week.

Nason (Jr., Lafayette, Co./Broomfield) headed in the Falcons' second goal in a 5-1 defeat of Chico State. The Wildcats' only goal came off a penalty kick.
