SEATTLE (Aug. 29) ­ Andy Willis of Seattle Pacific University was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference men's soccer player of the week after scoring in each of the season's first two games.

Willis (Jr., Gig Harbor, Wa./Gig Harbor) delivered the game-winning goal in a 1-0 road win at Chico State. He also scored the opening goal in a 2-2 tie with Fresno Pacific.
