Men's Soccer Schedule
SEATTLE - Saving perhaps the biggest game of
the men's soccer season for last, Seattle Pacific University will
host defending NCAA Division II champion Seattle University in the
final regular season game Nov. 5 at Interbay Stadium.
The Falcons, coming off a No. 25 national
ranking and 12-3-2 record, open the 20-game campaign at Chico
State Aug. 25, and play eight of the first 10 on the road.
San Francisco State and Sonoma State are the
first two visitors to Interbay, on Aug. 31 and Sept. 3. A
four-game homestand kicks-off the second half of the year,
including the first Great Northwest Athletic Conference games,
versus Humboldt State Sept. 24 and Western Washington Sept. 28.
SPU visits Seattle U. Oct. 8 and both meetings
with the Redhawks are Saturday afternoons.
Cliff McCrath, who guided his program to five
national titles between 1978-93, brings back six starters. Among
the returnees are first team all-region midfielder Ross
Vaillancourt and all-GNAC forwards Andy Willis and Nick Letts.
