SEATTLE (June 7) Quinn Brewe, a
promising freshman and key frontline reserve for Seattle Pacific
University's national runner-up team, has decided not to return
next season.
Brewe did not request a release to play
elsewhere.
Brewe, the state 3A player of the year in 2004
as a senior for Lynnwood's Meadowdale High School, played in 28 of
33 games, averaging 5.5 points and 5.4 rebounds in 17.2 minutes
per game.
The Falcons, who won their third straight Great
Northwest Athletic Conference title and second consecutive
regional crown, finished 30-3 and advanced to the NCAA Division II
championship game for the first time. They will return four
starters next season, including the entire frontline.
