Falcon Women's Four Wins Daffodil Cup for Third Straight Year
March 26, 2005

TACOMA, Wash. (Mar. 26) – Seattle Pacific University won its third straight women's varsity four crown at the Daffodil Cup in the wind and rain on American Lake Saturday.

The Falcons also took third place in the men's varsity four, fourth in the women’s novice four and fifth in the men’s novice race. All crews faced a stiff headwind of 10-15 miles per hour.

Seattle Pacific's varsity four, with two members back from last year’s national championship crew, finished with open water on second-place Puget Sound.

SPU competes at the NCRC Invitational next Saturday in Vancouver, Wash.
