TACOMA, Wash. (Mar. 26) Seattle Pacific
University won its third straight women's varsity four crown at
the Daffodil Cup in the wind and rain on American Lake Saturday.
The Falcons also took third place in the men's
varsity four, fourth in the womens novice four and fifth in
the mens novice race. All crews faced a stiff headwind of
10-15 miles per hour.
Seattle Pacific's varsity four, with two
members back from last years national championship crew,
finished with open water on second-place Puget Sound.
SPU competes at the NCRC Invitational next
Saturday in Vancouver, Wash.
