MPSF Selects Huss for Gymnastics Weekly Award

SEATTLE (Mar. 22) – Debra Huss of Seattle Pacific University was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation co-gymnast of the week after setting an all-around scoring record.

Huss (So., Orangevale, Ca.) totaled 39.225 points over four events, including a 9.850 on vault and 9.875 on beam and floor in the Falcons’ dual victory over Alaska Anchorage. The old SPU all-round record of 29.125 was set by Alison Siegel in 2001.

It was the third weekly award for Huss this season.

Seattle Pacific competes in the MPSF Championships Friday night in Davis, Ca.
