SEATTLE (Mar. 15) -- Mandy Wood, who sparked Seattle Pacific University during its drive for a second straight NCAA West Region championship, has earned the Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's basketball player of the week for the third time this season.

Wood (Jr., 5-6, Port Angeles, Wa.) was selected as the regional tournament's most outstanding player as she totaled 44 points, 18 assists and 10 steals in the three games.

Seattle Pacific (28-2) will face Grand Valley State (Mi.) in a national quarterfinal game Mar. 23 in Hot Springs, Ark.
