Falcon Women at No. 4 in Going Into Women's NCAA Tourney
March 8, 2005

SEATTLE (Mar. 8) ­ In the final rankings based on the regular season, Seattle Pacific University stays unchanged at No. 4 in the nation among NCAA Division II women¹s basketball programs.

Drury (Mo.) is No. 1 for the eighth week in a row. Shaw (NC), Washburn (Ks.) and the Falcons (25-2) complete the top four.

Seattle Pacific, which was eliminated by Drury in the Elite Eight last season, has been fourth for four weeks. The Falcons are the top seed in the NCAA West Regional, which begins Friday at Brougham Pavilion. They face Montana State Billings in the first round.

Three other West Region teams coming to Seattle are Western Washington (No. 12), Chico State (No. 17) and Cal Poly Pomona (No. 21).
