SPU Women Stick at No. 4 in Women's Hoop Rankings

SEATTLE (Mar. 1) In the final poll prior to the NCAA women's basketball tournament bracket announcement, Seattle Pacific University remains ranked No. 4 in the nation among Division II programs.

Drury (Mo.) is No. 1 for the seventh week in a row. Shaw (NC), Washburn (Ks.) and the Falcons (23-2) complete the top four. SPU visits Alaska Fairbanks Thursday night, then Alaska Anchorage Saturday.

The NCAA tournament berths and regional sites will be announced Sunday night.

Other West Region teams listed include Western Washington (No. 14), Chico State (No. 18) and Cal Poly Pomona (No. 24).
