SEATTLE (Feb. 22) Seattle Pacific
University remained in the top 25 of the NCAA Division II men's
basketball coaches poll for the sixth straight week, receiving a
No. 21 ranking this week.
The Falcons (18-6) dropped for the second week
in a row, falling four places after splitting two road games in
Alaska. SPU was as high as No. 8 last month.
Upheaval has become the norm in the men's
rankings, particularly at the top. Bowie State (Md.) became the
sixth different No. 1 team, replacing Findlay (Oh.).
Hawaii Hilo, which was the No. 1 team in the
West Region last week, is No. 13. Western Washington is 19th and
Cal Poly Pomona is No. 22.
Seattle Pacific hosts Humboldt State Thursday
night.
