Huss Selected As MPSF Women's Gymnast of Week

SEATTLE (Feb. 22) ­ Debra Huss of Seattle Pacific University was selected as the gymnasts of the week in the Mount Pacific Sports Federation after claiming a total of four event titles and two all-arounds in a pair of road meets.

Huss (So., Orangevale, Ca.) won the beam (9.675) and floor (9.850) at San Jose State while also winning the combined title at 38.650. At UC Davis, she won on uneven bars and tied for first on beam with identical scores of 9.675, while again nailing the all-around title with a combined score of 38.675.

For the season, Huss leads the MPSF in all-around scoring average while also ranking second on balance beam and floor.

The Falcons meet California and Oregon State in a three-way meet at Corvallis, Friday night.
