SPU Women Drop Just a Couple Spots in NCAA National Rankings
Team now No. 4 following loss at Saint Martin's
February 15, 2005

SEATTLE (Feb. 15) ­ For the first time since December, Seattle Pacific University dropped in the NCAA Division II women's basketball rankings, settling at No. 4 after sustaining its second loss of the season.

Drury (Mo.) earned 24 of 25 first-place votes and remains at No. 1, followed by Shaw (NC), Washburn (Ks.) and the Falcons (20-2). SPU, which had been No. 2, hosts Central Washington Saturday at 3.

Other West Region teams listed include Western Washington (No. 13), Chico State (No. 18) and Cal Poly Pomona (No. 20).
