Falcons Men Drop to No. 17 in Men's National Basketball Poll
Loss at WWU causes tumble
February 15, 2005

SEATTLE (Feb. 15) ­Seattle Pacific University tumbled seven spots to No. 17 in this week's NCAA Division II men's basketball coaches poll.

The Falcons (17-5) dropped from a tie for 10th last week following a 91-87 defeat at Western Washington. The Vikings are now 18th.

At the top of the men's poll, Findlay (Oh.) became the fifth different No. 1 team, replacing Bentley (Ma.). Central Missouri, which Seattle Pacific beat in December, is now No. 6. Hawaii Hilo, which was the No. 1 team in the West Region last week, is No. 14.

Seattle Pacific plays at Alaska Fairbanks Thursday night.
