Seattle Pacific Women Still No. 2 in National Rankings
February 8, 2005

SEATTLE (Feb. 8) ­Seattle Pacific University stayed steady at No. 2 in the NCAA Division II women's basketball rankings for the third week in a row.

Drury (Mo.) remains at No. 1, followed by the Falcons (19-1), who have won 17 straight, and Shaw (NC). SPU, which did a second first-place vote, plays at Saint Martin's Thursday night.

Other West Region teams listed include Western Washington (No. 14), Chico State (No. 15) and Cal Poly Pomona (No. 17).
