SEATTLE (Feb. 8) Seattle Pacific
University re-joined the NCAA Division II men's basketball top 10
amidst another big shakeup.
A week after falling five spots to No. 13, SPU
moved into a tie with Central Missouri State for No. 10. The
Falcons (17-4), who defeated Central Missouri in December, visit
Western Washington Saturday night. The Vikings narrowly missed
making the top 25.
At the top of the men's poll, Bentley of
Massachusetts replaced Minnesota State-Mankato. Hawaii Hilo, which
was the No. 1 team in the West Region last week, is No. 13.
Seattle Pacific is the only athletic program to
have both its men's and women's basketball teams ranked among the
top 10. The Falcon women are No. 2.
