Seattle Pacific Men Slide Yet Remain in Top 15 of National Basketball Poll
February 1, 2005

SEATTLE (Feb. 1) A shakeup in the top echelon of NCAA Division II men's basketball affected Seattle Pacific University as the Falcons were among five teams to drop from the top 10 in this week's rankings.

A week after rising to No. 8, SPU slid five spots to No. 13 following a two-point loss at Western Oregon. The Falcons (15-4) rebounded to soundly beat Humboldt State two days later.

At the top of the men's poll, Minnesota State-Mankato replaced Virginia Union. Only one other West Region team is in the top 25; Hawaii Hilo, which defeated the Falcons Nov. 26, is No. 16.

Seattle Pacific hosts Saint Martin's Wednesday night at 7.
