Randolph, Ayers-Stamper Are GNAC Track Athletes of Week
January 30, 2005

SEATTLE (Jan. 31) ­ Chris Randolph and Danielle Ayers-Stamper, both of Seattle Pacific University, were selected as the indoor track and field athletes of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

Randolph (Jr., Lone Tree, Co./Denver Christian) took second place in the Athletes.com/Boise State heptathlon with a score of 5,141 points. Among his marks were a school-record pole vault clearance of 14 feet, 3¼ inches.

Ayers-Stamper (Jr., La Crosse, Wa.) won the pentathlon with a score of 4,007 points while posting three NCAA Division II provisional qualifying marks. She cleared a Division II best 5-8 in the high jump, long jumped 19-1½ and ran the 60 hurdles.
