Falcons' Binetti Gets GNAC Men's Basketball Co-Player of Week

SEATTLE (Jan. 24) ­ Tony Binetti was named co-player of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference after sparking Seattle Pacific University's surge into first place with a pair of victories.

Binetti (Jr., 6-1, Enumclaw, wa.) scored a total of 46 points, missing just four shots, as the Falcons beat Alaska Anchorage (91-76) and Alaska Fairbanks (102-94 in overtime) at home. He hit on 13 of 17 shots (4 of 6 three-pointers) and 16 of 20 free throws. Binetti's 26 points vs. Anchorage was a career high. He also had a team-best 12 assists with only three turnovers.

Seattle Pacific (6-1, 14-3) goes for its fifth straight win Thursday night at Western Oregon.
