SEATTLE (Jan. 17) ­ Mandy Wood's successful return to the lineup earned the Seattle Pacific University guard a share of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's basketball player of the week award.

Wood (Jr., 5-6, Port Angeles, Wa.) scored a total of 41 points as the Falcons won their 47th and 48th consecutive conference games dating back to the 2001-02 season. In home wins over Northwest Nazarene and Saint Martin's she made 15 of 23 shots, including six of 11 from the three-point line. Wood had missed the previous two games with a knee injury.

Seattle Pacific (6-0, 14-1) seeks its 13th straight win overall Thursday at Central Washington.
