Seattle Pacific Women Rise to No. 4 Nationally
December 14, 2004

SEATTLE (Dec. 14) ­ Seattle Pacific University moved up to No. 4 in this week's NCAA Division II women's basketball rankings after extending its win streak to five games.

The Falcons (7-1) moved up one spot prior to Saturday night's game at undefeated Chico State (6-0). SPU has won 67 of its last 68 regular season games.

Washburn (Ks.) replaced Drury (Mo.) at the top of the coaches poll.

The only other West team included in the rankings is Cal Poly Pomona at No. 12. The Broncos visit SPU Dec. 30.
