SEATTLE (Nov. 24) Teona Perkins, an
All-American in both the high jump and 4x800-meter relay, has
signed a national letter of intent and will transfer to Seattle
Pacific University to compete in track and field and cross country
in 2005-06.
Perkins, a graduate of Kennewick (Wa.) High
School, finished sixth in the NAIA Championships as a freshman
last season at Northwest College. She also was a member of the
relay which placed third nationally.
Currently, Perkins is attending Spokane
Community College. She will have two years of eligibility at
Seattle Pacific.
In the last five years, the Falcons have won
three titles and finished second in the Great Northwest Athletic
Conference twice.
