Keeper Hull Selected Women's Soccer First Team Academic All-America

SEATTLE (Nov. 23) ­ Seattle Pacific University goalkeeper Jennifer Hull, the NCAA regular season leader in goals-against average, has been named first team ESPN Academic All-America for women's soccer.

Seattle Pacific University goalkeeper Jennifer Hull is an ESPN Academic All-America first teamer.

Hull (Sr., Eugene, Or./Sheldon) becomes her team's first academic All-American and finished fourth in the balloting for Academic All-American of the Year for the college division (non-Div. I). As a junior she was a third team All-American and led Division II in goals-against average (GAA).

A double major in Latin America studies and political science, Hull has a cumulative grade point average of 3.58. She was earlier chosen academic all-region for the second year in a row and academic all-Great Northwest Athletic Conference for the third time.

Hull, a four-year starter for the Falcons, finished the season with a GAA of 0.38 and 10 shutouts. Seattle Pacific was ranked No. 1 in the nation for much of the year and finished 19-1-2 after claiming an GNAC title for the third consecutive year and making the NCAA playoffs for the second time in the program's four-year existence.
