SPU Volleyball Nets Sarah Mohr of Portland's Central Catholic

SEATTLE (Nov. 18) ­Sarah Mohr, a standout setter from Portland's Central Catholic High School, has signed a national letter of intent to play volleyball at Seattle Pacific University.

Mohr, a 5-foot-9 senior and resident of Vancouver, Wa., is a two-time all-Mount Hood Conference selection and was voted to the Oregon state all-tournament team. Earlier this month the Rams fell to Jesuit in Oregon 4A championship. They took third, fourth and sixth her first three seasons. Mohr also plays for the Nike Northwest Juniors.

Seattle Pacific head coach Kellie Ryan has taken her teams to the NCAA Division II tournament two times during her five seasons. The Falcons finished this past season at 15-11. They return four starters in 2005.
