SEATTLE (Nov. 16) Kelsey Hill, a
6-foot-3 center who led Portland Christian High School to the
Oregon 2A championship as a junior, has signed a national letter
of intent to play women's basketball at Seattle Pacific University
next season.
Hill, a senior this season, led the team in
scoring (15.2) and rebounding (10.1) and blocked shots (2.7) last
year as the Royals went 28-1. She was voted the most valuable
player in the Northwest League and was chosen to the state
all-tournament team.
Hill joins a Seattle Pacific program which was
30-1 and finished No. 3 among NCAA Division II teams in 2003-04.
The Falcons, who open their season by hosting Warner Pacific
Friday, signed Meadowdale (Wa.) guard Ashley Fenimore last week.
