Three Falcons Make Volleyball Academic All-GNAC
November 11, 2004

SEATTLE (Nov. 11) ­ Three members of the Seattle Pacific University volleyball team­Katie Ralph, Shelby Gihring and Whitney Dibble­were named to the academic all-Great Northwest Athletic Conference team.

Ralph (Jr., Port Orchard, Wa./South Kitsap) is a business major with a 3.53 grade point average. A middle blocker, she leads the GNAC in blocking. Dibble (So., Reno, Nv./Galena), a biology major with a 3.37 GPA, is ninth in blocking. Gihring is also a biology major and has a 3.42. All are a first-time recipients.

The Falcons (14-10) visit Northwest Nazarenes in a GNAC match Thursday.

To be eligible for the academic team, student-athletes must have a minimum grade point average of 3.20 and be in at least their second year of competition at their university.
