Everson Gets SPU Assist Record, Conference Women's Soccer Player of Week Award

SEATTLE (Nov. 8) ­ Seattle Pacific University defender Michelle Everson is the women's soccer player of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference after setting a record for assists while helping the Falcons post two more shutouts.

Everson (Jr., Tacoma, Wa./Stadium) had two assists as SPU defeated Seattle University 4-0 to complete an unbeaten regular season (19-0-1). Everson's 11 assists is a new school record and she leads the GNAC. The Falcons also beat Central Washington 4-0 and now have 16 shutouts overall.

Seattle Pacific (19-0-1) host the NCAA Far West Regional beginning Thursday night at Interbay Stadium.
