SEATTLE (Oct. 11) -- Karen Dickson of Seattle Pacific University was named female cross country runner of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference for the third time following her fourth victory of the season.

Dickson (So., El Dorado Hills, Ca.) won the Western Washington Invitational, finishing 55 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher and 64 seconds ahead of the next collegiate runner. The Falcon women finished second to Central Washington.

SPU next competes Oct. 23 at the GNAC Championships in Arcata, Ca.
