SEASIDE, Ca. (Oct. 9)—Sarah Martinez scored nine minutes into the second half of play to lift NCAA Division II top-ranked Seattle Pacific University over Cal State San Bernardino 1-0, in a non-conference women’s soccer tournament match Saturday afternoon at Cal State Monterey Bay Soccer Complex.

Seattle Pacific kicks off against tournament host Cal State Monterey Bay on Monday at 12 p.m. in its next contest. Its next five matches are on the road.
