SEATTLE (Sept. 27) ­ Brent Egbert of Seattle Pacific University was named men's soccer player of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference after spurring the Falcons to a pair of road victories.

Egbert (Sr., Bellingham, Wa./Sehome) extended his point-scoring streak to seven games with three goals and two assists in wins at No. 15 Barry (3-2, overtime) and Nova Southeastern (4-3). He scored the game-winner in the latter on a penalty kick with 51 seconds remaining.

SPU (7-1-1), which played its last seven on the road, hosts Montana State Billings at Interbay Stadium Tuesday night at 7.
