SEATTLE (Sept. 21) Seattle Pacific
University moved up six more spots in the men's soccer national
rankings on the morning of its encounter with No. 15 Barry (Fl.).
The Falcons (5-1-1), unbeaten in their last six games, are No. 18
in this week's poll conducted by the National Soccer Coaches
Association of America (NSCAA).
SPU is off to its best start in seven years,
despite playing the last five games on the road. They were No. 24
last week.
Incarnate Word of Texas is No. 1 again this
week. Seattle University is No. 5. Nova Southeastern (Fl.), which
hosts Seattle Pacific Friday to wrap-up a 25-day road trip,
dropped from No. 9 to out of the rankings following a 2-0 loss at
Rollins (Fl.).
