SEATTLE (June 23) – Battle Ground’s Brian Cronrath has signed a national letter of intent to run cross country and track for Seattle Pacific University beginning next fall.

Cronrath recently finished fourth in the Washington state 4A championships in the 1600-meter run and eighth in the 3200. He was also eighth in the 3200 as a junior. In cross country, he qualified for state his final two years, finishing 35th last fall.

At Seattle Pacific, Cronrath will join another Battle Ground product. Tim LeCount, a senior next year, has been the Falcons’ top distance runner for two years. LeCount won the GNAC outdoor 5000 this season and was second in the indoor mile.
