TACOMA, Wash. (Mar. 27) Seattle Pacific
University successfully defended its women's varsity four crown at
the Daffodil Cup on American Lake Saturday.
The Falcons also took first place in the men's
varsity pair, novice four and junior varsity four and earned
second place in the women's JV four.
Seattle Pacific's varsity four, which was
national champion a year ago, finished with open water on
second-place Pacific Lutheran. The JV boat finished 18 seconds
behind Western Washington.
For the men, the Falcons' pair easily won by 40
seconds, the JV beat Puget Sound by a bow and the novices were two
boat-lengths in front of Lewis & Clark
