SEATTLE (Mar. 8) – Kari Kelly of Seattle Pacific University was selected as the gymnast of the week in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation after scoring a school record on vault. At Oregon State last Friday, Kelly scored a 9.875 to break Alison Siegel’s record of 9.850

At Oregon State last Friday, Kelly scored a 9.875 to break Alison Siegel’s record of 9.850 from 2001. The Falcons totaled 192.900, matching the third-highest score in team history.

Seattle Pacific hosts Washington Monday night and visits the Huskies Friday (Mar. 12) for a three-way meet involving Boise State at Bank of America Arena. (Late Note: SPU defeated UW 192.875 to 191.475, and Kari tied for first on vault.)
