SEATTLE (Mar. 1) – Ally Studer of Seattle Pacific University earned Great Northwest Athletic Conference female track & field athlete of the week honors following her school-record performance Saturday.

Studer (Sr., Redmond, Wa./Redmond) cleared 12 feet, 4 inches to win her section of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation meet at Dempsey Indoor. It improved her own SPU record by 2 1/2 inches and it was the No. 6 mark in NCAA Division II this indoor season.

The Falcons’ outdoor season begins Saturday at the University of Puget Sound. The NCAA Indoor Championships are Mar. 12-13 in Boston.
